This barn-turned-house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a hot tub sits on 6 acres of land which is shared with the host’s home (see aerial photo). The property is in a country setting, yet it is only a few miles from town, so this makes the perfect home-base for you to explore Bloomington, IU, Nashville or Lake Monroe. We are convenient to three different boat launches and hiking at Paynetown State Recreation Area and Hoosier National Forest. Upstairs you will find a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room with a sleeper sofa and a wet bar area. Downstairs is the full kitchen, another living room and a second bathroom. We also have a convertible poker table with bumper pool. There is a retro arcade game cocktail table with over 500 classic arcade games as well as two building-block style play couches for kids to make forts to their hearts content. Outdoors, there is a luxurious 6 person hot tub and fabulous fire pit with grill grate. There is a large upper and lower back deck on which to enjoy a meal or hang out and chat. A championship level disc golf golf basket is provided which you can use for putting. The paved driveway has room for a boat trailer and up to 3 cars. Hosts have a chicken/pigeon house behind the guesthouse which you can see and guests are welcome to walk down and check out the birds. There is also a koi pond by the host’s home and if the hosts are home you are welcome to come up and hand feed the fish if you would like.
